Agracel/Lowndes County Speculative Building to be used by PACCAR

Golden Triangle, Mississippi – The Golden Triangle Development LINK (GTR LINK) and Agracel, Inc., have partnered to locate a tenant for the speculative building that was vacated by Calstar last fall.

PACCAR, a global technology leader in the design, manufacture, and customer support of high-quality premium trucks, will now use the building as a distribution and warehouse facility. Originally constructed by Agracel in 2008, the facility was later purchased by Lowndes County and leased by the previous tenant.

The 100,000 sq. ft. facility will be managed by Comprehensive Logistics, Inc., (CLI) and nearly $2 million in improvements will be made by Agracel to update the building to accommodate CLI and PACCAR.

“Agracel is thrilled to partner with PACCAR, CLI, The Golden Triangle Development LINK, and Lowndes County to bring this project to fruition,” said Justyn Dixon, Regional Business Director for Agracel’s Mid-South Office.

Updates are currently underway and CLI will occupy the facility immediately following completion.

“We’re grateful to Agracel for facilitating a very complicated deal and reaching a positive solution for all parties involved,” said Joe Max Higgins, Jr., CEO of the GTR LINK.
