Leah Upton

Chief Operating Officer

Leah Upton serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Golden Triangle Development LINK. A two-time graduate of Mississippi State University, she earned her Bachelor of Accountancy in 2019 and her Master of Professional Accountancy in 2020. Leah began her career in public accounting, where she gained valuable experience before joining the LINK as Director of Finance in 2022. Upton oversees the organization's day-to-day operations while continuing to manage the LINK's financial responsibilities. She also serves as Administrator for the Lowndes County Industrial Development Authority.

Leah and her husband, Colby, live in Columbus with their son, Robert and two dogs, Rivers and Honey.
