Where We Began

The LINK originally began as the Columbus Lowndes Economic Development Association (CLEDA).  In 2003, the organization was rebranded as the "Columbus Lowndes Development LINK", representing the economic development efforts of Lowndes County.  After a decade of prosperity under the leadership of Joe Max Higgins, Jr., neighboring Clay and Oktibbeha Counties joined the organization in 2013 to form the regional economic development organization, the "Golden Triangle Development LINK."
